The grayscale is used for the presentation to attract attention to details of logos such as construction and shape. A well designed logo is defined by its shape and construction, the colour comes next.

Apeer

description

Apeer is an app founded in San Francisco to support lawyers and legal advisers. The aim was to design a logo that embodies strong, solid and trustworthy brand. Logo mark refers to a stone gate - a symbol of civilisation as well as to the weighing machine - Themises attribute. She was the Greek goddess of justice. It’s also the first letter of the brand’s name.

description

SPE is a Polish Association of Eco Divers with a mission to protect natural water environments. Logo mark represents a crest with a symbolic water lily flower in it and a grayling – a beautiful Polish fish. Graylings live only in crystal waters, their existence indicates that the water resevoir is perfectly clean.

HOW TO DESIGN A LOGO THAT STANDS OUT

Logo is an outcome of a well conducted research on brand’s identity. Only then the designer can create a sign that reflects key values and emotions using visual language. A perfect logo is mix of skills combined with intuition – it’s about engaging people with the use of simple, symbolic signs.
